Distractions as you toil up the trail include the flying flowers as well as the rooted ones. White crowned sparrows cheer you on when you reach the sub alpine and higher alpine zones.
The older posts from 2007 show a day by day photo documentary of my month long residency in Glacier National Park. Posts starting in 2008 are paintings that have been inspired by my explorations of the park in 2006 and 2007 as artist in residence.
